Giving back
The Family has donated and worked to raise funds for a number of causes over the past 40 years and established the Shanta Foundation in 2005 to align these efforts.
The Shanta Foundation focuses on health, education and shelter and its objectives are:
- Ensuring aid reaches beneficiaries directly
- Minimising the cost of delivery of aid
- Selecting projects in which the Family can actively participate
- Monitoring projects, including support after completion
